Dig Deep Farms is a social-enterprise CSA program founded in 2010 that grows and distributes produce across the Alameda County communities of Ashland, Cherryland, and San Leandro. It farms roughly 8 acres of urban land, including a fruit-tree orchard and vegetable plantings, and aggregates harvests at a Food Hub near Lake Chabot. Members can order CSA produce bags online for in-person pickup at neighborhood locations, and the farm also sells vegetables at local produce stands and the San Leandro Farmers Market.
