It grew out of a 2001 partnership between the Murfreesboro Master Gardeners and the Murfreesboro Historical Association to give local farmers an organized outlet for their goods. Shoppers can buy fresh local vegetables and fruits along with baked goods, candles, soaps, and crafts from area vendors. Most vendors accept cash, credit, and debit, and some accept SNAP, EBT, FMNP, and WIC.
