Kellogg's Alpacas
Scio, New York
Kellogg's Alpacas is a small family-owned alpaca farm in the hills of Allegany County, owned by Phil and Robin Kellogg. The owners raise alpacas for their fiber and shear their own herd, processing it into 100% alpaca, blended, and dyed yarns; local crafters turn the fiber into hats, scarves, mittens, rugs, and other items sold in an on-site farm store. Farm visits are welcomed by appointment, and the farm hosts overnight campers through Harvest Hosts and Hipcamp, where visitors can interact with the alpacas, a mini mule, and a donkey, browse the store, or try wet or needle felting.
