Altamont Orchards is a family-operated farm at the base of the Helderbergs in Altamont, NY. Its farm market sells fresh fruits and vegetables, plus apple cider donuts, pies, breads and pastries from the on-site bakery, regional specialty foods, and gift shop items such as candles, seasonal decor and housewares. Visitors can pick their own apples, and the farm ships products nationally from November through Christmas. Spring plants including annuals, hanging baskets and vegetable plants are sold early in the season.
