Allen Farmers Market is a weekly community market operated by the Allen Neighborhood Center on Lansing's east side. Each week over 15 vendors sell seasonal produce and vegetables, artisan and gluten-free baked goods, pasture-raised eggs, dry beans, fresh cheeses, local meat and fish, mushrooms, herbs, and hot ready-to-eat foods. It runs outdoors in the warm months and indoors at Allen Market Place in fall/winter. The market accepts cash, debit/credit, and SNAP/EBT, with Double Up Food Bucks matching SNAP purchases.
