American River Cherry Company is a family-owned U-pick cherry and berry farm in Placerville. Visitors can pick their own fruit using supplied containers or buy pre-picked batches when available. The farm grows four varieties of cherries and seven varieties of berries. The grounds include a one-acre lawn with a picnic table and hammock under pine trees and a koi pond where guests can feed the fish. A $5 entry fee applies to adults and children over 12.
