Patchen California is a family-owned farm in the Santa Cruz Mountains, operating since 1969, that offers seasonal fall and holiday experiences. In autumn it runs a pumpkin patch with pumpkins and gourds, plus Harvest Nights featuring wine, live music, and food trucks. From late November it sells fresh-cut Christmas trees in several varieties and sizes, and visitors can also book photography sessions and wine tastings.

Hours: Pumpkin patch (Sept 18-Oct 25): Fri 10am-5pm, Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 10am-6pm. Christmas trees (from Nov 21): Mon closed, Tues-Fri 1pm-5pm, Sat/Sun 9am-5pm.
