The Hilmar Cheese Company Visitor Center is a dairy-tourism destination where visitors can learn how cheese is made through interactive, hands-on exhibits about cows, dairies and cheesemaking. It is the only place to buy Hilmar cheese and includes a gift shop with charcuterie supplies, local gourmet foods, wine and beer. A cafe serves grilled cheese sandwiches, soups including cheese chowder, cream cheese brownies, Peet's Coffee & Tea, and ice cream.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm, closed major holidays
