Discovery Gardens

Discovery Gardens is a hands-on agriculture program at Genesis Organic Farm in Hanford, founded by Jeannie and Ted Williams in 2007. Similar to a community garden, participants learn through classes to plant, tend, and harvest their own reserved garden plot on the farm, grown without GMOs, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, or pesticides. The farm also operates a pick-your-own orchard known for sweet Dapple Fire Pluots, a plum-apricot cross with red flesh.
