Hangtown Kid is a u-pick apple orchard in Camino, about 8 miles above Placerville in the Apple Hill area. Visitors can harvest their own fruit and buy prepared products. The farm grows 13 apple varieties (September-November), pears including Bartlett, Bosc and Asian types (August-November), Fuyu and Hachiya persimmons (November-December), and chestnuts (October-December), and also sells honey.
