Belle Chevre is an artisan goat cheese creamery established in 1989, housed in a renovated cotton warehouse in downtown Elkmont. It produces award-winning goat cheeses including flavored chevre spreads (Original, Honey, Fig), goat cheese logs, fresh chevre, and the grape-leaf-wrapped Greek Kiss. The on-site Creamery Shop sells products and offers free tastings, though facility tours have been discontinued.
